Looking for a fun, hands-on opportunity on Boston Harbor? Charlestown Marina is hiring part-time dock hands for the rest of the season (now through October). Our customers are the driving force behind everything we do, so the right person is cheerful, knowledgeable, and courteous at all times, providing top-notch service while projecting a professional image both on-site and off. Safety is just as important as service in this role.
Responsibilities
- Provide first-class customer service in every interaction
- Perform daily opening and closing duties, dock walks, meter readings, and pump-outs, following equipment sanitation procedures
- Maintain grounds, docks, walkways, restrooms, and equipment
- Assist with special events, which may fall outside normal operating hours
- Learn marina rates and policies, and bring a proactive, honest, and professional work ethic to the team
- Perform other duties as assigned, always with an eye toward the safety of yourself, customers, and marina property
